My love for edible cookie dough started long before I ever imagined it becoming a business. As a kid, I remember my mom baking cookies — two spoons moving dough, and me sneaking a third spoonful straight from the bowl. That spoon was mine — the third spoon — and that sweet memory never left.
Years later, after experimenting with safe, egg-free cookie dough recipes for my wife and children, a simple idea grew into something bigger. What started in our home kitchen became a small-batch, family-owned cookie dough brand in Central Ohio — crafting no-bake cookie dough that’s safe to eat and made to share.
We chose the name 3rd & Spoon as a little tribute to that moment — a destination where anyone who loves cookie dough, nostalgia, and comfort treats can find a delightful spoonful (or two).

Temperature changes during shipping — even warmth — won’t affect safety. If you notice a little natural oil separation, that’s normal — just stir or refrigerate to firm it back up.

Baking & Freezing Tips
Want to bake your edible cookie dough? Go for it. Because our dough is egg-free, cookies will bake up slightly flatter and crispier than traditional recipes.
You can also freeze unopened jars for up to six months. When ready to enjoy, thaw 24 hours before opening to prevent brittle packaging.
